Data Analysis

The main purpose of the CMS Collaboration is the study of Physics in the TeV range. LHC collisions allow exploring that range in detail, from measurements of the Standard Model and the recently discovered Higgs boson, studies of heavy-ion collisions searches for new particles, phenomena and even extra dimensions in the Universe.
